Brenda Walker-Anderson

Brenda Walker-Anderson is program assistant for the Division of Engagement and Division of Communications and Marketing for the All of Us Research Program. She worked for the federal government for 24 years, with 14 of those years working at the NIH Clinical Center Nursing Department and for the National Cancer Institute. She also worked at the General Services Administration, the Government Printing Office, and the National Science Foundation, traveling to Hawaii, New Zealand, and, as an assistant to the director of polar programs, Antarctica. Brenda studied at Strayer College and hopes to go back to school to obtain her degree. She is active in her community, working to feed the homeless and overseeing clothes donations to keep them warm during the winter months. She does some work with returning citizens, supporting their lives after incarceration. She is passionate about eating healthy and loves to travel, read, listen to music, dance, and watch movies. She lives in Mount Rainier, Maryland, and has one son, who is a D.C. policeman.
