Tim Barfield is the operations team lead of the All of Us Research Program. In this role, he helps manage administrative activities for the program’s office at NIH. Tim came to All of Us from HHS’s Office of the Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources. As a management analyst there, Tim was responsible for developing and reviewing management and program-related initiatives to ensure adherence to the methods, principles, and practices of sound organizational management and efficient resource utilization. This included budget formulation and execution as well as the coordination of management activities like travel, space and facilities, records management, payroll, and information technology. Before joining HHS, Tim served 22 years in the United States Air Force, directing, coordinating, and monitoring administrative, logistical, and IT functions to provide Airmen the resources needed to protect the security of the United States.
