Kristal_singing [00:00:00.18] I love to sing. I didn't do much sports because of my brutal bone disease. Kind of wasn't a good outlet for me. But you know, singing and music became a great outlet for me, and I would definitely say it helped me cope with my disability. [00:00:14.94] And it gave me a lot of awesome opportunities, and I love to sing. I actually sang for the Children's Inn opening ceremony, when they opened the new wing of the Children's Inn. I used to come to the Children's Inn and just sit at the piano and sing and play for hours. Whoever would come and listen, you know, it was the more the merrier. [00:00:36.36] In the Children's Inn, everybody speaks a different language. You have families there from all over the world. But I found that when I sat down at the piano and started playing or singing or something, music is the universal language. You don't need to know what it means to feel the music. So that was one of my favorite experiences at the Children's Inn. [00:00:59.22] Well, now you have to sing something for us. [00:01:02.52] OK. Well, since it's DNA day coming up, it makes me think of Lady Gaga's song, "Born This Way." I don't know if you've heard that song, but all right. I'll do a little snippet. Put me on the spot. OK, all right. [00:01:20.86] (SINGING) I'm beautiful in my way because God makes no mistakes. I'm on the right track, baby. I was born this way. Don't hide yourself in regret. Just love yourself and you're set. I'm on the right track, baby. I was born this way. [00:01:44.63] Wow. We have been speaking with Kristal Nemeroff What a beautiful rendition.
