Anna Johnston, M.A. (she/her), is a study coordinator at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and the manager of the UAB Youth Safety Lab. Her research interests include childhood injury prevention, issues around access to care for vulnerable populations, and the development, implementation, and evaluation of community-based health interventions among underserved populations. Anna began her career as a child, adolescent, and family therapist providing services to families in rural Alabama. As the child of a two-time cancer survivor, Anna was eager to enroll in the All of Us Research Program as a study participant. She is optimistic about the medical advances waiting to be discovered in the All of Us data.
