Gladys Pryor is an accomplished professional who currently holds the position of senior community engagement and special events associate for the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine. With her extensive expertise, she also serves as co-director of the Office of Community Engagement and Diversity. With more than 15 years of nonprofit management experience, Gladys has demonstrated a profound dedication to serving her community.
Before taking on her current role, Gladys was executive director/CEO at Love Network of Baytown, an organization that focused on providing essential support to individuals in need. In this role, she managed initiatives addressing critical needs such as rent, utilities, food, hygiene items, and clothing. Gladys’s passion for community welfare is further exemplified by her commitment to working with teams to develop targeted strategies and goals.
At Baylor, Gladys harnesses her expertise to spearhead efforts in genetic education, information dissemination, and resource allocation to underrecognized communities throughout Texas.
