Vanessa Uzoh (she/her) is a health professional with experience in health promotion, holistic well-being, and public health. She has served in numerous roles within healthcare including as a patient care coordinator, benefits consultant, and a health solutions innovation architect. Her years of experience have equipped her as a leader in well-being, health and benefits design, and equitable healthcare. Additionally, her personal triumph over health difficulties uniquely positions her as an advocate to those she serves, especially historically excluded populations. Having earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in anthropology and health promotion management, Vanessa is committed to improving health equity and clinical advancements using cultural intelligence, education, applied research, and advocacy. Outside the health ecosystem, Vanessa is an avid traveler, servant leader, plant-based foodie, and music fanatic. She is a first-generation Igbo American, native to Texas, and currently resides in San Antonio.
