The All of Us Research Program is building a database to help transform the future of health research by equipping researchers with expansive health data from diverse populations, with a special focus on including groups underrepresented in biomedical research. Our current dataset includes information from more than 315,000 participants, more than three-quarters of whom are from communities that are underrepresented in biomedical research and about half of whom are members of racial and ethnic minority groups. All of Us is working to advance health care and science by inviting researchers—at all stages of their careers—to explore the All of Us Researcher Workbench.
Trainees in the biomedical sciences are invited to join us for a special webinar from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET on June 24 to learn more about the All of Us Researcher Workbench. You’ll learn more about our platform, the data we’re collecting, and the many research questions it could help answer. You will also learn about the policies and requirements for accessing and using our data responsibly. There will be an opportunity for interactive discussion with All of Us staff and current researchers on the Workbench.
This event will be most beneficial to trainees who have R or Python coding experience and who are working in fields best suited to utilize the current data and tools of the Workbench. We welcome and encourage trainees from racial and ethnic minority groups, trainees from the LGBTQ+ community, and trainees with disabilities to join us.
All of Us is committed to diversity in research, from our participant cohort to our investigators. We believe that research should truly be for all of us.
Please email us at support@ResearchAllofUs.org with any questions about the event.
