Fifteen additional community organizations and health care provider associations have joined the All of Us Research Program’s growing network of engagement partners to raise awareness about the program and its potential to advance precision medicine.

“Our partner organizations have been invaluable in helping us reach diverse populations, including those that have been historically underrepresented in research,” said Eric Dishman, director of the All of Us Research Program. “We are excited to work with these groups to expand our efforts and continue building the community connections that we know are essential to our mission.”

The new partner organizations are:

  • American Association on Health and Disability, Rockville, Maryland
  • American Public Health Association, Washington, D.C.
  • Community Council, Dallas, Texas
  • Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Baltimore, Maryland
  • Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • National Association of County and City Health Officials, Washington, D.C.
  • National Association of Hispanic Nurses, Raleigh, North Carolina
  • National Black Nurses Association, Silver Spring, Maryland
  • National Council of Asian Pacific Islander Physicians, San Francisco, California
  • National Hispanic Council on Aging, Washington, D.C.
  • National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc., Decatur, Georgia
  • National Rural Health Association, Washington, D.C.
  • Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Decatur, Georgia

“These organizations will play an integral role in sharing the All of Us message across the country and helping us understand the unique needs of their specific communities,” said Dara Richardson-Heron, M.D., chief engagement officer of the All of Us Research Program.

NIH continues to collaborate with HCM Strategists to administer these partnerships.

All of Us is committed to working with a diverse group of participants, and our engagement partners are a tremendous asset in forming relationships and building trust with communities across the country,” said Ronnie Tepp, HCM’s principal investigator.
