Valarie Paige (she/her) is a native resident of Jackson, Mississippi. She has been working in health care for 37 years. She has been a dental assistant, an office manager, and a service coordinator. Valarie worked as an outreach worker for Advancing Precision Medicine (APM) until September of 2020. She successfully completed a 12-week training at Mississippi Public Health Institute in community research fellowship training. Valarie enjoys walking with GirlTrek. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and baking and works with various projects in her community. Valarie is married with four adult children and five beautiful grandchildren.
