With the June 2022 data release, the All of Us Researcher Workbench now includes health data from more than 372,000 participants, including information from nearly 20,000 people who have been infected with SARS-CoV-2 and more than 57,600 initial responses to the new social determinants of health survey.
The National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to seek guidance on how best to acquire and integrate electronic health record (EHR) data from health information networks (HINs) and health information exchanges (HIEs) into the program’s dataset. Currently, more than 460,000 All of Us participants have consented to share EHRs.

Inside Precision Medicine Editor-In-Chief Damian Doherty interviews All of Us Research Program Chief Executive Officer Dr. Josh Denny about the program’s progress and goals. The interview covers updates since the program’s launch in 2018 and outlines strategies to reach the ambitious goal of engaging more than one million participants who reflect the diversity of the country. The program aims to build an indispensable resource for researchers to help drive health discoveries that benefit us all.
Health data from nearly 20,000 people who have had SARS-CoV-2 is now available to researchers across the U.S., opening new opportunities to study COVID-19 disease prevention, progression, and recovery. These records are part of the National Institutes of Health's All of Us Research Program's expanded dataset encompassing clinical, genomic, and participant-reported information.
