The All of Us Research Program has issued a new funding opportunity seeking the collaboration of national, state, and local engagement partners to recruit and engage participants in the landmark NIH program.

The All of Us Research Program has awarded an initial $39 million to Vibrent Health, of Fairfax, Virginia, through a new award to continue leading the program’s Participant Technology Systems Center. With this funding, Vibrent Health will develop digital technologies to make it easy for people nationwide to take part in the program.

Essentia Health was selected as an enrollment partner for the All of Us Research Program, to enroll participants from rural communities in northern Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota in a COVID-19 research study.

Vanderbilt Health is leveraging large swaths of clinical and genetic data to create personalized health care technologies. The large swaths of data that make these technologies possible come from the All of Us Research Program, for which Vanderbilt serves as a major hub. “All of Us is really an exciting project built on a lot of converging elements and technologies that have made a scale of projects in biomedical sciences that has never been possible before,” said Josh Denny, vice president of personalized medicine at Vanderbilt and CEO of All of Us.
