A Statement from the NIH Director:
I am delighted to announce the selection of Joshua Denny, M.D., M.S., as Chief Executive Officer of the All of Us Research Program. As CEO, Josh will oversee NIH’s efforts to build one of the largest and most comprehensive precision medicine research platforms in the world, in partnership with a diverse network of awardees and participants.
The All of Us Research Program has issued a new funding opportunity to continue the work of the Participant Technology Systems Center (PTSC). Initially funded in March 2017, the PTSC develops and maintains the digital platforms that participants use to share and access their information, in addition to supporting other program partners in managing participant enrollment and retention.
The All of Us Research Program is pleased to announce a collaboration with NIH’s Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) on a new pilot project, inviting eligible participants to join PregSource, a separate research effort to gather information about pregnancy.
The All of Us Research Program has determined an updated timeline for its government-to-government Consultation with American Indian and Alaska Native Tribal Nations, first begun in spring 2019. The current period of Tribal Consultation extends until November 30, 2019 to ensure additional time for input, per Tribal organizations’ recommendations.
